Some good news....

ATT and DirecTV are the same company, but ATT UVerse (which is what I have) doesn't have CBS back on it's line up yet.

I don't know when the last time I watched anything on CBS, so I haven't missed it. I'm sure there would be football programming that I will miss if it's not on by the start of the season.

for all of you who were in a tizzy over the CBS/DirecTV negotiations, they came to an agreement earlier today. By now everyone should have their local CBS station as well as the CBS Sports Network back in their package.
not here in Central California--here DirecTV's beef is with Nexstar, who owns the local Fresno NBC and CBS stations, their feud is still on going, so no NBC/CBS here yet. Nexstar owns 171 stations across the country that are OFF DirecTV's lineup until they settle.

Nexstar owns my local CBS station, and it's still removed from my channel lineup.

Back well in time for the season premiere of NCIS and the next season of The Amazing Race. Those are the only network shows I watch.

I know about Vrzella. He treated the weather broadcasts like they were torture to him. And he was THE weatherman. Surprised they didn’t let him go a few years back.

Still no CBS here in Las Vegas, didn’t want to go through hoops to watch Blood & Treasure, but apparently I have no choice.

It CBS, get an over the air antenna and be done with it. Just as long you live in or close to a city the reception is great.

Here in Pittsburgh CBS is the station the majority of Steeler games are on.

While CBS was offline on DIrect TV we watched CBS using Locast which Diehard mentioned and it worked great.

CBS is back thankfully!

Apparently Locast relies on contributions,I didn't do a monthly contribution to Locast, but I did call their toll free number and I sent them $ 50 in appreciation for being able to watch golf while DirectTV and CBS waged their war on eachother.

A side benefit was that I purchased a 32 in Sanyo Roku TV from Ollies for $ 90 which can access the internet allowing for lots of different programing options.
