some knucklehead

on social media is passing along a note that Tyler Sear is leaving the team. Your thoughts?
He is lucky we don’t have any other TE’s because otherwise he would be riding the pine. Pitt is the only Power 5 school in which he’d be starting for. He is the same kid that got into a fight with Paris Ford a year ago. They both came out afterwards and said it was over PlayStation, and that they were good friends. Birds of a feather flock together.

This would be one of the most baffling transfer decisions I've ever seen. Not only is he starting here, but there is no real reason for him to expect that to change in the next few years. The TE we have coming in next class is about the same caliber of recruit as he is, and is two years younger. His choices are to start for your hometown P5 school, transfer to FCS or sit a year and transfer to a MAC program. That is a very very easy choice!

Yeah, it's so much fun and career advancing to play in an offense that treats you like the 6th offensive lineman and rarely throws you the ball.
He can't catch, so it doesn't matter much what offense he plays in. He would not be a guaranteed starter at most MAC teams. He is a starter here because our TE coach is a crackhead and we had multiple, more talented, players transfer.

Both Ollison and Aston could play TE. That would then mean Hall and Davis get the majority of carries.

I'm sorry but that crack head line was hilarious!

Yikes, no thanks. Those two are our only bright spots on offense. Moving their positions 1/2 way thru season sounds risky.

No, I don't work for them, I just think they do a really good job of covering Pitt sports.

No problem with them I just feel they always repeat info like they did here. Peak, PSN, Batko etc provide better info IMO. But to each their own
