Was looking through the box score and these stats stood out.
1) Possession Time: Pitt 34.22 - and they lost 51-6. It's the most useless stat in football that people continue to talk up like it means something.
2) Penalties: Pitt 14-116 - that's just god awful
3) Avg Yards per Punt: Pitt 33.7, Net per punt: 27.6 - That's really bad
4) Pitt kick returns: Punts 3 for -5 yards, Kickoffs 3 for 34 yards
5) Points off turnovers: PSU 14, Pitt 0
6) Red-Zone Scores-Chances: PSU 4-4, Pitt 1-3
7) Tackles: Camp 0, Watts 1 assist, Zeise 1 assist, Hamlin 1 - you aren't gonna stop many people when these 4 guys compile 1 tackle and 2 assists.
8) Offensive touches by Ffrench: 0
The bright spots in the game were Ollison and Wirginis. I though Mathis and Shocky showed too. They need to find a way to get Shocky the ball more, and Ffrench not getting a touch on offense is inexcusable.
