Pretty astounding, to be honest. I have put about four or five posters on ignore the last week or so, and it is funny to see that there are now half the posts now that certain posters don't show up.

Obviously Dixon need to right the ship. I still hold out hope he can, but the level of players he has brought in just haven't been up to snuff recently. Defense obviously being the biggest issue, as I agree that guys like Young and Artis don't seem to have a clue how to defend.

That said, we have several posters on here that are just constantly off the rails, and it is really kind of a shame that on every thread, we have to see certain posters say the same exact thing over and over and over, and that one poster in particular runs around agreeing with everything negative that is said on here.

IMO, it is nowhere near close to time to fire Dixon. A coach that has made the NCAA tournament 10 out of 12 years needs a leash of 3 misses in a row or so before we get to that point. If we miss this year and next, then fine, do it...but that is far from a sure thing at this point.

Also, as far as the game last night, I was upset at first we lost, but not at the team. It was a good effort...the defense was better, we out rebounded them, and Pitt fought back instead of collapsing when they went down early in the second half. Also was nice to see James have a very Levance like performance and hit two huge clutch shots at the end. Luther looked good again, Jeter decent in spots, and nice to see Chris Jones contribute. Hopefully we can build on last night.

In any case though, I am just constantly amazed at how infantile some of the posters on here tend to act.

Exactly how I feel. Too good of a career to just throw away. But miss the tourney in '15, '16, and '17 and there's big problems. No way they even think of firing him until after next season at the very earliest.

I think he needs 4 misses in a row. Even if we miss this year and next, he needs to go a complete 4 year recruiting cycle with no bids to get canned. If we dont make it this year, he had 2 more years to make it......and he probably will one way or the other.

Hopefully it just doesn't come to that. I still think we should be able to sneak in this year. Yeah, maybe a miss next year and he won't be fired yet, but I would really hope they can make it next year at least. Quite frankly we should be closer to a lock than the bubble right now. We just need to stop having these mid-game collapses.

Pretty reasonable. But if he doesn't make it this year or next, things will be very ugly going into that last year.
