I have not read anything saying he is in the running, but Alex Bailey might be a great fit for this role. Bailey left Ball State to join Colorado State this offseason. He spent the previous six years as the WR Coach and Recruiting Coordinator for the Cardinals - mentoring some talented WRs (Justin Hall, Riley Miller, and Yo'Heinz Tyler). He played WR at Youngstown State and has a lot of experience coaching in/recruiting the midwest (Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio). Hiring someone like him alongside Manalac would really improve our chances to pull kids out of the midwest.
Just a thought. As I said, no inside information here, but wanted to share.
