just talked to a buddy. his daughter was choosing b/w michigan state and pitt. pitt offered nothing and MSU offered $15k scholarship. liked pitt better, but $15k is $15k.
i've head this same thing many times, which i'm sure many of you have. or have direct experience. i don't have the slightest idea how this works, whatsoever. my only direct experience is my nephew went to F&M (which is expensive) but my brother said he didn't pay much more than a state school.
