He said “ our dfense stinks” Spring game early duzz era played at bethel park on a friday night. Commuter traffic balls up traffic to BP. I think iwe played thereto placate mike grimm? He was injured and never really played

Chapman qb from ohio had a good game. Hecpromptly gets in trouble back home. Never panned out. 2011 spring game at heinz. Frauds only spring game. Absolute down pour.
Spring game 80s under Foge at penn hills . PH retires fralics number. His entire family looked to be 6-2 210. Dante wiley was the rookie phenom
2003 at North Hills, maybe for Andrew Johnson, lol. Billy Gaines looked really good, but tragically died later that summer.
There are still people waiting in traffic for that Spring Game in Bethel Park.
My favorite memories of Spring are either it's 85 with straight sun and I get a bad sunburn or it's 30 degrees. Not sure it's ever been in between.
i remember a spring game where gaines caught a long deep ball in corner of end zone, was a nice catch. This one was at Heinz field though, i remember because it was super hot that day..
I've told this story before but i lived outside of DC for a few years, this was after his passing. lived pretty close to his hometown, Urbana i think. Anyways, worked with younger guys and they all knew the name. Said he was a legend for his speed. some of them were saying it was "BS" lol, which led me to believe his hype was crazy...
actually was going into the movie theater one time near frederick MD, kid was taking my ticket and i had a pitt hat on. he stopped me, asked me if i was a fan and said he was Gaines' little brother.

yep, the Phil Jurkovec debut must have been like 88 degrees and no shade to be found. Was hoping his mediocre showing was just because it was a scrimmage, turned out to be wishful thinking.
Yeah wedid a lot of excuse making for jurko and max browne. They stunk in the spring game and in the regular season
