Ehh I just think all of the empty seats are a bad look. I would rather have it at the smaller facility where it is full and everyone is more engaged. The attendance was not great I think in excess of 10K so it would have been SRO at Highmark. I loved the atmosphere at Highmark. I like the spring games just to get a look at the team. The fact that so few attend does not bother me.
high school stadiums scream "small time." High mark isn't big enough, I don't even think it seats 4k.. if it held 8K+ then I'd be for it. it's actually too small, which is really saying something.Ehh I just think all of the empty seats are a bad look. We agree to disagree. Either way, I'll see you there. H2Phigh school stadiums scream "small time." High mark isn't big enough, I don't even think it seats 4k.. if it held 8K+ then I'd be for it. it's actually too small, which is really saying something.
yes, im with you. I actually love the idea of station square too so im not necessarily disagreeing with you. I love the location, just see the reason for it. Ironically enough, I've been to every damn spring game except the one at highmark 2 years ago, which turned out to be a beautiful day.We agree to disagree. Either way, I'll see you there. H2P
that's the perfect mindset to take into it.Some of you guys are never happy. The spring game is great to catch up with old Pitt friends and have a few cold ones and enjoy.

Highmark was OK and the atmosphere was really good. But the entire event seemed ridiculously congested from parking to the stands only being on one side. The game needs to be at Heinz.Dang it. I really enjoyed when they had the game at highmark stadium. I wish they would keep doing it there. It was full, and the atmosphere was so great.
I was sick last year and didn't make it to Heinz, how was the attendance?
And Paul Chryst got skewered for cancelling it one year. That's the only reason to have it. The staff hates it and the players don't need it.
that's why we call him cheesedik. Just a real cheesedik move. And Paul Chryst got skewered for cancelling it one year.
i actually was listening to it on the radio. It was such a weird broadcast. it was basically a few people talking about pitt in general, and not paying any attention to the game. every once in awhile, they'd break into it with an update on a good play but most of the time, just a few guests talking. Very weird. it was like a pitt sports radio show, at a game, but them not watching the game.Highmark was OK and the atmosphere was really good. I wonder if it will be broadcast on Watch ESPN via the ACC Digital Network this year. I don't believe it was the last two years.
