“Where are the reads? Why did we do this? What did we see?” he said, relating a typical day of video study. “We're getting more detailed. I don't really think we could talk it out that much when we first were learning it. That's a good thing to build off of.” ......................
This week, it's back to money for Bradley as coach Pat Narduzzi and his staff are intrigued by the youth and athleticism of star linebackers Seun Idowu and Elijah Zeise, both sophomores from North Allegheny. “We have to find a couple guys who can play multiple positions,” defensive coordinator Josh Conklin said, adding Bradley remains in competition with Idowu and Zeise. “Bam played money last year, so he has a really good feel of what's going on there. We wanted to make sure he got a look at star, but between Elijah and Seun, we have a chance to get a good group there.”..................

Reactions: doubleAA's
As stated, Pitt young Linebackers and Defensive Backs are going to have make the right reads, at the right time, and cover plus tackle superb talent at WRs Godwin and Hamilton, RBs Barkley, Robinson, Allen, and Sanders, and now QBs McSorley and Stevens.

The battle between Pitt's experience DLs and Penn State younger but talented OLs will help decide this upcoming game. One slip up by either one Player can be a Sack or Fumble as well as Quick big Play Run Attack or Catch TD?

At the same time, Pitt's Veteran OLs against younger inexperience Penn State DLs could be the difference of Long Time Consume Ball Control and 4 Quarter Game that gives a Defense a rests? Or Experience QB Pocket Passer versus Younger Run and Gun QBs?

Why I post these double post about Both Teams, Coaches, and Players with no clue what will happen and hope both Programs Posters do it on the Lair and I still see and call this a Toss Up Game?

I welcome every poster that disagrees if they see a Blow Out either way too, just explain why and how you predict it?

Penn State receivers get feel of new QBs

The start of the post-Paterno era at Penn State has been marked by instability, as coaching, personnel and sanction-related changes left the Nittany Lions unsure and lacking an identity................
This season, however, Trace McSorley and Tommy Stevens are duking it out for the starting gig under center, featuring a reverse dynamic at Penn State where the receivers and starting running back have experience and the quarterbacks are green.
Veteran receivers could be the biggest assets for McSorley and Stevens. Chris Godwin and DaeSean Hamilton have ranked among the best Big Ten receivers, with Godwin earning second-team All-Big Ten honors and Hamilton being named honorable mention All-Big Ten. Still, adjusting to a new passer isn't a small task for even the best of receivers. Godwin and Hamilton are putting in extra hours at practice working to shore up their pass-catch relationship with McSorley and Stevens.............
“We've got to get to the point where they know what we're expecting and they know what we're expecting,” Godwin said. “So it just takes the extra time to go out and run extra routes, before workouts, after workouts.”
The receivers aren't getting used to one new starting quarterback. Instead, preparing for two starting candidates means double the work. Whatever routes they run with McSorley, they have to run with Stevens because either player could be the starter come Week 1....................
