Steel Valley player averaging 36 PPG????

Btw, Tyler Scott wouldn’t make my top 10 players I’ve seen in the WPIAL/City League.

Pryor, Revis, McConnell, Big Fella, DJ, Dre Kane and Dre Schifino would be where they list starts

It's funny, but shooting has derailed more basketball careers than anything else. That was Terrelle Pryor's weakness. It is why a kid like Micah Mason who was poo pood here was successful in college. It is what got TJ McConnell to college even when he was way undersized and didn't yet grow.

So many of these great athletes in HS just can get whatever they want on a HS basketball court, they never really focus too much on a jumpshot.

Hell, that was primarily our achilles heel from the guard positions on even our best teams.
I have seen soooo many kids with a lot of athletic ability not put in the skill work it takes to be a good shooter, ball handler, etc. They just live to dunk and mess around.

Is Maleek Thomas the real deal and Pitt chances?
He’s the best I’ve seen in western PA since I’ve been alive. They throw the word around pro for every top 100 prospect there is… I’ve been around pros at that level. Unless he does something stupid or stops training… he’s a PRO. NBA straight out of Hs if they change the rules back type of pro.

Pretty sure he's the real deal.

Pitt chances??? He visits constantly, so that's cool.
But he's gunna have alot of opportunities, so I think that'd be a beyond fantastic development
I think he is that "any program in the nation" type of recruit. All of the blue bloods will be on him. But if Pitt continues to have success, Capel seems to allow his players have alot of freedom, plus they will have his HS backcourt mate on the team.
