NFLPA Report Card is out and the players gave Art II a D, the team ranked 28th overall.

Interesting that every coach got As or Bs, except 3 who got Cs. And two time coach of the year Stefanski was one of the 3. In contrast, there were four Ds for owners other than Pittsburgh, including Arizona, New England, Carolina and Tampa. New York Jets owner got an F.

Atlanta and Miami got really high marks across the board. Somewhat surprised about Miami, especially considering how they handled some concussion situations with the QB over the past couple seasons, you would think that would have resulted in finger pointing at someone (training staff, head coach, owner).

Not surprised by the Steelers grades - especially when it comes to Art and the infrastructure....he's just as cheap as Nutting. He's just forced to spend where Nutting is not.

And of course Art’s lackey Kaboly blamed it on Pitt.

It is just such a poorly run organization. No accountability. I mean whey would they resign Najee Harris? Why? It has become an old buddy club. Once you are in Tomlin's graces, you never have to worry. Art II is pathetic.

Here are excerpts from two DIFFERENT PG columnists over the past 2 days.

Refusing to disrupt progress surely extends to those fluky postseason results, as well: six consecutive losses, the last victory coming in 2016, dropping those contests by a combined 96 points and getting out-scored 73-0 in the first quarter during that stretch.

The Steelers have averaged 9.6 wins over the past seven regular seasons, but are we really going to base a sample size on anything so small? That’s only 1 in dog years.

No, the plan this offseason has been perfectly understandable, starting with coach Mike Tomlin’s declaration on Jan. 14 that nobody should get terribly comfortably with the status quo.

“I would imagine there are gonna be some things that change around here on a lot of levels,” Tomlin said. “But that’s just this game.”

What game?

Immediately after saying the Steelers didn’t score enough, and pointing out how you really need to score in the modern-day NFL, Khan was asked about Smith’s performance in his first season as Canada’s replacement.

The first six words of his response: “Arthur did a really good job.”

He did?

Here I thought the Steelers ranked just 22nd in total offense, barely ahead of the New York Jets, and amazingly failed to score a first-drive touchdown in any of their 18 games. Oh, and for the first time since the 1-13 team of 1969, they went five straight games without eclipsing 17 points. And were the worst first-down offense in the entire NFL based on yards per play. And embarrassed themselves in the first half of the playoff game against arch-rival Baltimore with zero points, two first downs and 59 total yards. And had the fourth-worst red zone offense in the league, ahead of only the Patriots, Cowboys and Giants. And were the fourth-worst fourth-down team in the NFL. And might have stripped their veteran quarterback of his ability to change plays at the line after he shredded the Cincinnati Bengals for 44 points. And despite fancying themselves a smash-mouth offense averaged just 4.1 yards per rush — with only six teams worse. And were just 16th in scoring offense.

If that’s “really good,” I’d hate to see really bad.

NFLPA Report Card has to be the dumbest offseason topic in recent memory.
Why this stuff is made public is a wonder.
Having said that, the Steelers owner is clueless.
Is he? With all of those towels, the filled and sold out season tickets, the 24/7 domination of local media....there is really nothing pressing him to change.
