Needed to go 2-1 in this 3 game homestand. Win the next 2 and we're back in "Last 4 In."

Almost the entire ACC will spend much of the season somewhere near the bubble so Pitt will have PLENTY of opportunities to not only help their case but to also weaken others by beating them.

I see only UVa and FSU as locks. Louisville is winning but its the worst Louisville team I've seen in a decade or so and I'm not convinced they wont slide to the bubble eventually. So the 9 teams after UVa and FSU are all somewhat bubblish.

In the end, I dont think we'll win enough but the expectation in Year 3 was to contend for a bid and we're doing that. I hope there's an NIT and I hope we're in it.

I still see them on the bubble of the bubble and probably still a year behind at this point.

Wow, the rest of the ACC is on the bubble? First time I’ve heard you declare this wildly inaccurate statement as fact in a new thread

Besides UVa and FSU, there are no other teams who right now, you would be comfortable betting several thousand dollars that they'll make the NCAAT. Louisville is next but its not a great Louisville team so they cant be trusted yet. The rest of the league will be right around the bubble outside of the bottom 4.

I don't get the year behind comment. Do you think the NCAAT is a must in Year 3? I think its a must in Year 4 and by Year 3, they have to get somewhat close to it and make the NIT.

There’s 5 teams that are solidly in the NCAA tournament right now. They’re not even on the bubble. Could they go on a losing streak and go to the bubble? Sure. But they’re not now. So stop saying it.

If the tournament was picked today, yes. But Clemson and VT will absolutely be on the bubble within a couple weeks. Both are going to slide back especially VT without Radford.

The ACC has 2 sure-fire teams, a pretty safe bet for a mid-range seed in Louisville and then there's 8 other teams who will be around the bubble from say 10 seeds to NIT.

Where were you when I was sinking money into the Mega Millions last week? Needed the future then.

That is correct and even beating FSU is not out of the question. We have played FSU about as good as anyone in the ACC the last 3-4 years. I still think we can have at least a .500 record in conference. We need to win the next 2 to do that though.
