I'm a UCF guy so this is a perspective from someone who has experienced YEARS of what you guys are going through. We were built to run just like your team now when George O'Leary was our coach. We endured the old school pro style offense with 3 yards and a cloud of dust. You guys have some big, physical ballers no doubt, but the coaching is the problem. When we hired Scott Frost, he changed the culture of the program from the start with things like music at practice, allowing guys to have beards/facial hair, etc. We went from 0-12, to 6-7, to our 17 game win streak all with many of the same athletes. Of course having Milton is key, but we have about 80% of the same guys. I'm sure I'm telling you stuff you already know, but it's much easier to recruit and win when you have one of the P5 logos on your Jersey. We operate on $2M of TV money in out league and the rest we have to generate through ticket sales, donors, etc. I'm sure if enough of your big donors get in the ear of the AD things will change.
