Straight Disrespect

Franklin is throwing the ball up 44 to 6 with under 3 minutes left in the game and challenging a fumble up 51 to 6 with a minute left. That is straight disrespectful. I have generally been a supporter of Narduzzi, but if they have a poor season this year he should be fired.

This one was especially sweet for the Penn State football team. Two years ago, after dropping a crushing 42-39 decision to Pitt at Heinz Field, the Nittany Lions we verbally abused as they left the field. It ate at them for 24 months.

And then they returned and laid a 51-6 hurting on the Panthers Saturday night.

"All the fans and everything, just the disrespect,” now senior corner Amani Oruwariye said late Saturday night. "That stayed in our head.”

"I'll never forget the fans and all the disrespect they had to Penn State and us as players,” defensive end Shareef Miller added. "I kind of still remember that. But we got the last laugh.”

By the time this one ended, the stadium was pretty much empty except for the Nittany Lion fans who stayed around to celebrate. And the Penn State players appreciated it. They went to all of the different areas where PSU fans lingered. Then the Nittany Lions sang the school's alma mater. Then they left the field, all smiles this time around.

The challenge late in the game was absolutely ridiculous. Other than that, all James from state college did was coach his team. I think he’s the biggest d-bag to ever step foot on a sideline, but that’s on pitt for being so incompetent and unprepared.
