We played very poorly, as a PITT fan i've seen us lose everyway possible. In saying that if feel like this is a very critical time for us as fans to continue to support the team. We aren't going to get any better without us as the die hard fans supporting them no matter the results.

Just curious, but why should I support a team that consistently lays eggs ? Why should I support a program that insists on repeating the same mistakes again and again?

For 19 years I’ve watch Pitt poop the bed. That’s not going to change but neither will my level of support.
It's been over 30 years that Pitt has had a consistently decent football program. That isn't going to change this year. It's very hard to support the incompetence in coaching and the bonehead plays the players make, not to mention the total lack of talent on this team.
You go to the store and you buy the same brand milk because it was your favorite brand 30 years ago. The next 20 times in a row you buy it, you end up drinking spoiled milk.
Would you continue to buy the milk again and again because it was your favorite brand of milk 30 years ago thinking the only way they’ll be able to produce non-spoiled milk is by you pumping them money supporting their shit product?
Or would you express your displeasure and say FU, talk to me after you fix your problems and can produce good product.
This is football, not family. You’re paying for a product or a service, you need to demand quality and not continue to open wide for a shit sandwich.

Good god, not another "the fans have to show their support" thread. I've been watching this shit show for 30 years. The core fans have been with Pitt despite what the program has delivered. Actually, our fans ARE the problem. We keep getting served shit on a shingle and expected to eat it, shut up, and enjoy your shit sandwich. No thanks.

Well then in your opinions what does PITT do from here i don't think we recover from another coaching change. i agree we must demand a better product but unless Heather is ready to go out there and get a top tier coach like she has been doing for the other sports we are bound to keep getting the same thing year after year. That is why im saying we need to support the team this year and hope for a turn around. and a solid season. The program is in a very fragile state especially with a surging St Penn.
You hired the right man, which would cost money, you could win here before Duzz ever will.
Yea I don’t blame people for taking a wait and see approach. We just haven’t done our part in a competitive market. There are too many other entertainment options for us to expect unconditional support after the way we’ve played on the field for the last 30 years.
