I wouldn't mind snagging Dingo for OC if he is willing. I don't think he would but I think he could be an upgrade....not sure if he would make much of a qb coach though.
By the way, I'm sure you're all aware but Syracuse football is a fraction of what it could have been before the season started.
They have incurred numerous injuries, they had several plsyers opt out. Almost felt sorry for them having to play.
They just are not in a position to really be competitive with anybody.

I actually think they were relatively competitive with us. We didnt blow them out
It would be nice to see him actually create an offense at Syracuse before we hire him to be OC.
Of course I'm talking about more recently when the hits just kept coming for them, losing players due to injury or opting out for the season.
When Pitt play them they had some semblance of a team but that's no longer the case.
Their top two running backs and a starting LB opted out before the season started.
We've seen first hand what a lack of running game production will do to an offense.

I remember that 2016 crazy game watching Syracuse and thinking their offense was something we used to do when playing pick up football games. Hard pass on Dino, but he would be better than Whipple.
He is 59 so this might be his last head coaching gig. I think given the covid circumstances his job is safe for another year.
