I've been trying to follow Team Evolve AD (Aaron Donald) as they participate in various 7-on-7 tournaments. I still don't quite understand how things work, as there seems to be various organizations (Under Armor, etc.) that sponsor tournaments, all of whom have a national tournament. In the case of Team Evolve AD (Hamlin, Ford, Hudson, Jackson twins, Garner, Sanders, etc.) they have advanced to the IMG National Championship tournament this weekend, June 19-21 (http://www.nfa7v7.com/). I counted 18 teams participating in the tournament which takes place in Bradenton, Florida. Each of the participants had to win a regional tournament to advance. 4 teams from Florida, 1 from Texas, 2 from California are among the participants.
Team Evolve AD qualified by winning the East Coast Elite regional tournament which took place April 18, in Manheim PA, just outside Lancaster PA (http://www.svssports.com/#!7-on-7-tournament/c11ze). They went 4-0, winning by the scores of 27-2, 32-6, 23-5 and 44-17. Former Pitt recruit (Wannstedt) Will Clarke, from Alderdice, WVU and the Cincinnatti Bengals sponsors a second team from Pittsburgh called, Team Evolve-Will Clarke.

It's not easy to follow, but the speed, agility and athleticism displayed by the Jackson twins can be easily seen. The game was a championship game played on May 10th. I'm uncertain if it's related to the April 18th tournament. They also won a championship in Baltimore within the last month or so. I'm still trying to find if any network is covering/televising this weekend's national tournament.
