The offseason has been filled with expectations on the D. We are starting to gain more talent but over the past few days by recently I’ve heard top 5 nationally and Alabama level used. Just to provide a little perspective on how the D performed forwards the end of the year I went back and looked at total offense for the teams they played.
As you can see, the teams we played at the end of the year struggled mightily offensively. This was due in large part to first year qb’s and poor offenses. For the most part, outside of Ok St and Penn State we played lousy offenses. I expect that to change this year and many of the teams we play return starters and we will face much better offenses
