Temple's endzones

Heinz is still a dump and the only reason it sells out for the Steelers is because there is a genuine, cult like, mentality for the team. People show up and just sort of sit there.

I went to ND 2013. No atmosphere at all. Not sure what you saw but it felt like a sterile NFL game.

I wasn't at the Notre Dame game; I only surmised the atmosphere from what I saw on TV, this board, and what was said by people that I know who went to the game.
If it was as sterile as you're suggesting, that's probably because of Pitt's 4-5 record going into the game. It's why I didn't go.

I've said this before: I've been to Pitt games at Louisville, Notre Dame, Michigan State, Nebraska, and Navy. The only stadium that's made me say Heinz Field stinks is Navy's.

Only Pitt fans would think playing at Heinz Field is a better atmosphere than Notre Dame.

I don't think he ever said it was better. Just that the actual stadium didn't stink.

Yep, because Pitt plays there.

Anyone who finds Notre Dame Stadium special does so for only one reason: because the Notre Dame Fighting Irish play there. If you picked up that stadium and put it in Piscataway, we'd all be calling it a dump.

Why doesn't both endzones just say Pittsburgh until the Steelers resod the field after Thanksgiving? Hell then they can place their beloved STEELERS in the endzone.

That's what I always thought. Put Pittsburgh in both end zones.

The downsizing technology that will be used to cover entire sections of the upper deck at the new Falcons and Dolphins stadiums is something to be envied.
I just researched the new digs being constructed in Atlanta. ****... Brilliant and beautiful all while easily downsizing the capacity with relative ease. Yeah... That's awesome.
