If we win 1 of these last 2, we are going to the Pinstripe. Here's how the B10's bowl lineup looks:

NY6: OSU
NY6: Iowa

Citrus: Mich
Outback: Wisconsin
Holiday: MSU

Gator or Music City: PSU

Pinstripe: Northwestern (fixed)

Foster Farms in Santa Clara:
Quick Lane in Detroit
Armed Forces in Fort Worth

Neb is 5-6 and has to play Iowa. They can beat Iowa but it wont be easy.

Ind is 0-6 in the B10 but has 2 teams left that have combined to win 1 B10 game (Md, Purdue) so they will be heavily favored to get to 6.

Ill is 5-5 and plays Min and NW so they could get 6.

Min plays Ill and Wis and need 2 more wins so they probably dont get it.

SMF you forgot Northwestern. ESPN has Pitt playing Northwestern in the Pinstripe. Penn State has been linked to FosterFarms. The big ten may get a 5-7 Nebraska team in a bowl game but if Indiana or Illinois have losing records I doubt they will get a bowl invite.

I think I read that there are 80 slots and 62 qualified teams right now, so they need 18 more to qualify to fill all slots so they don't have to drop down to invite the 5-7 teams.

Thanks CAL Panther for pointing that out. I can't believe teams with losing overall record and in Indiana case a zero win conference record could still make a bowl without being a 6 win team

As for NW, I did forget them. We could get them in the Pinstripe which wouldnt be bad.

Technically, we could get PSU. There can be 1 repeat B10 opponent in the Pinstripe but they wont agree.

Wow. Illinois in a bowl would be just flat out bad. They are terrible. I really see a very, very, very slim chance of them winning either 1 of their 2 last games though so that should solve it if they finish 5-7. But you never know with so few teams being eligible around the country and the Big Ten always having more bowl affiliations than good teams.

You people crack me up. I'll probably get them from Pitt because that is how I'll land the best seats. I dont expect there to be a big inventory on the secondary market. Brokers dont buy bowl game tickets......for good reason as most are poorly attended made for TV events.
