I was on TAD with the Navy in Beaufort SC. These were days prior to GPS or smart phones. I asked for directions somewhere, and I couldn't entirely understand what this guy was saying, and I had no idea that "Piggly Wiggly" was a grocery store. He started out "go on daaayyyn to da Piggly Wiggly and turn left". Me "Wut?" "Daaayyn to da Piggly Wiggly". "Wut?" Da Piggly Wiggly!" "Huh?" "Damn. Dat white boy tarded."
I drove on down the road and saw the Piggly Wiggly, and thought "duh".
