The U reducing capacity at Sun Life to 55,000 with........you guessed it

I would tarp off the entire upper deck, raise the lower bowl ticket prices, and consider removing the tarps once Pitt has one full season of complete sell outs. If they can't accomplish that goal, then we don't need those seats, period. Use the tarps to show Pitt's retired jersey numbers, and use the upper endzone tarps to show the names of former great players and coaches.

You DO NOT need to tarp off the upper deck in it's entirety.. That is taking it too far... Upper endzone and corners of sidelines would change the place drastically.. reducing it to 53-56k.

When there are 20,000 PSU fans with tickets to the game next year, maybe you will understand.

I'll believe that when I see it. There have never been 20,000 West Virginia fans at Heinz when we've played them there. Never even been close. There have never been 20,000 Notre Dame fans at Heinz when we've played them there. Never even been close. There were never 20,000 Penn State fans at either Pitt Stadium or at Three Rivers when we played them there. Never even been close. Why should we assume that next year will be different?

I have mentioned that before. Reducing to 55,000 or so would be perfect.
