San Diego St., a team that went 10-2 and finished 10th in rushing yards in the nation, ran for 101 yards against Penn State. Those are two teams that will run a similar attack that Pitt will. My point isn't that we will not be able to run. It's that we will definitely need to be able to mix in some pass in order to run like the 1994 Nebraska Cornhuskers like you think
-Have to love this. Penn State fans from BWI on their defensive line next year. LOL, one homer that thinks Penn State is winning 11 games this year and everyone else is scared to death of how bad the Penn State D-Line is going to be.

"DT - IMO - a HUGE "talent problem"there certainly is a gigantic talent hole at DT. When the "big hopes" are an undersized RSFR DE who was moved to DT, and a couple of JUCOs - one of whom is more "under the radar" than your typical walk-on from Penns Valley High School, and the other is probably a long shot to even qualify to suit up.....that is a "talent problem" defined"
"If it is anything better than a "modest dumpster fire" we should feel pretty fortunate"
"I hope you are right but I would counter that the second string DLine got consistently gashed by the better teams last year. Many times we had to bring in the first team in the red zone to stop a drive"
"the one fact that we gloss over is that last year's line really did not play very well. I know that sounds crazy since 3 of them are now in the NFL. But we were gashed in the second half of the season by most teams we played. We couldn't stop or even slow down Maryland"
"You never know how the new guys will work out, but there is certainly reason to worry"
-LOL at Penn State's fear. This is like a shark smelling blood in water. James Conner destroys Penn State, Sept. 11th Headline.
