I just came back from Indy yesterday. I also have driven the Indy Turnpike about 6 times so far this year.
There is no state that I know, including Pennsylvania with worse roads. I swear to god the Interstate quality roads in Indiana is like a side street in Clairton. It is that bad. Almost all are just 4 lanes (2 East 2 West) and as bad as PA gets for our roads, they seem like the Autobahn quality. Indiana has all of this space, it is all flat, and they can't figure out how to build and maintain roads.
Just the worst. So be careful.
