This coming from the guy who wanted us to go after Fraud Graham again after Paul Chryst left us for Wisconsin.
Check out the mock drafts for 2022 and 2023. Most have Sam Howell as the #1 overall pick, and Kedon Slovis is in all the top 10 picks that I saw. You also see guys like Tyler Shough, Jayden Daniels, and Spencer Rattler mentioned as first round picks on multiple sites.
I did not see one of these mock drafts that mentioned Phil Jurkovec anywhere.
Both losses essentially flukes if we are being honest here about how 2020 has gone
it sucks we lost I get it... but both games were essentially fluke losses and both teams have proven to not be the pushovers everyone assumed.
I’m not trying to be a wise guy, but how are you arriving at the conclusion that Pitt is 2nd in the Coastal? Miami’s conference record is 6-1 and UNC’s record is 6-2. At 4-4, Pitt and VT are tied for 3rd. Am I missing something?

In regards to the Pitt Football program, I'll ask the same question Ronald Reagan asked voters in 1984... "Are you better off than you were four years ago?" I would say no...
Who made a bigger impact on their team Jurchvich or Lawrence?
Me smell a Jason White/Gino Toretta/Johnny Football situation ahead.
You need to look at the original schedule and break up the conference into their divisions. I am making the assumption PITT would beat UNC.

i love these so called experts. How many great Bama and Oklaholma QBs have graced the NFL (and save me the Mayfield comparison...he was a walk-on). College systems do not make great QBs.

Normally I don’t respond to retorts that simply call people names. For starters, it is a sign of a poor intellect and a lack of facts. I am going to make an exception in your case.
Clemson is an exceptional football team...something that PITT should strive to be. Their talent, recruiting, and coaching is superior yet they still lost to ND. ND is a team that has a QB that is not as good as Jurkovich....that is why he left. Clemson is a plug and play system. A college QB is vastly different from a NFL system QB. Anyone with a football IQ realizes the schemes and talent require a different type of QB. Well....with the obvious exception to yourself.
