-And falling.

-There are 351 teams total in college basketball. Pitt has 11 more places to fall to be dead last in ALL of college basketball for scoring offense. Dead last.

-Pitt is clearly the worst P5 team in the country. Pitt might be the worst P5 team of all time.

Tonight's Trivia question

-Forget 0-19 in conference... Thats old news.

-Has a P5 team ever finished dead last in points per game including all teams in the entire country at seasons end?

-What are the odds that Pitt loses out AND finishes dead last in scoring offense, including all midmajor schools?

Splash hire!

-If a Pitt fan ever makes a youtube video about this disaster, please make sure the Scott Barnes quote of "we want a coach that will recruit his tail off" is mentioned at least 10 times in the video on top of the illegal search firm used and 400K that was spent to hire the search firm. And please embarrass Ghalleger and Pitt's athletic administration while you are it.

Well ... the good news is that our defensive efficiency according to Pomeroy had improved all the way to #130 in the county, which should be considered pretty bad for a P-5 team.

The bad news is that our offensive efficiency is #270 which is embarrassingly bad for a Power 5 team, especially an ACC team. There are only two teams from the P-5, Big East and AAC that are worse offensively. South Florida, and ... wait for it ... Rutgers, which checks in at #305. The good news for the Scarlet Knights however, is that they are sporting an elite defense, which checks in at #17.

And be sure to add Barnes' famous quote from the 'come clean' press conference, "who couldn't get excited about this hire."

Ironic the days of Dixon teams winning while scoring 68 points seems like offensive clinics were being put on nightly at the Pete compared to this.

it is honestly a shame you cant trade actual NCAA players for extra recruiting spots. luther would have been nice to unload for a decent return at the deadline
