How would you travel to the game tomorrow? I usually take 376w and take stanwix street exit then go over Clemente bridge. I'm thinking of taking route 28 tomorrow instead. Thoughts?

I'm debating the same issue. Still inclined to come in on the parkway and if traffic sounds bad (I usually park downtown and walk or take the T) park farther out (. . . Oakland, Shadyside, Squirrel Hill) and take a PAT bus into town and the T across the river.

What about parking at the old Civic Arena and walking down to the T? You also have the Marriott and Consol parking garages too. Just a thought.

I figured I'd just listen to traffic reports on the radio and get as close to downtown as possible and follow my regular routine if parking is available. Usually, I park along 4th Ave (in a $5.00 garage). I was more concerned about lack of parking than the traffic. I haven't been in the city on a parade day in years. Leaving eat 5:00 AM, I expect to be there by about 10.

Get near Peter's Pub, The O, Bookstore or some Oakland landmark, walk up to Fifth Avenue and let the students herd you onto a bus and then the subway. It'll be fun and takes under 30 minutes.
