Trees Pool looking hot!

Good stuff, 45 years ago, that pool was barely adequate for a public swimming pool. Pitt has done wonders upgrading facilities. Guess many of us, have got to learn, our best programs have been swimming/diving and volleyball, not football and basketball.

It was state of the art when it was built in the early 60s and one of the nicest college facilities for years. Held numerous AAU, ECAC, and Big East championships the whole way through the 2000s, because it was one of the best facilities in the northeast. It's a little bit of hyperbole to suggest it was barely adequate for a public swimming pool.

Yeah, it's held up well as a pretty nice facility. It needs some work, for sure - which they're in the process of doing with the training/flatland facilities.

It will be a lot nicer with a bit of a facelift/TLC and the planned addition of a dedicated diving well. But it's still a quality ACC facility, even if it's not Indiana or Texas. (or Georgia Tech, but they're a bit of a different story considering they use the pool built for the 1996 Olympics)
