True freshman who play

Bright and Tucker are pretty much the two players that absolutely, without a doubt, need to redshirt. I mean, IF both of these guys are going to be linebackers. isn't tucker the one that is a backup on his high school team?

WHat the hell is the OP talking about?

LBs even if a few LBS too thin make good ST players and give them playing experience. You are entitled to your own opinion and "who you got" opens up that door for discussion.

We have so many safeties right now that I expect an all safety kickoff unit. Seriously though I'd be pretty shocked if Bright or Tucker touch the field this year. I think Sibley, Davis, Reeves, Ford play for sure and one of the other FR TEs might have to play too. Everyone else redshirts hopefully.

Will Sear be ready?

Pedo trash still trolling I see. Nothing to do in nit wit land?
sorry man, I didnt' mean to call you out.. we all have our opinions, mine are usually wrong..

I just was curious about those two, they seem like they really need a year to get into the weight room, moreso than most true freshmen. I could very easily be wrong though.

Playing a true frosh on the OL sounds bad to me.
Hmmnn...did you forgot about Dorian Johnson and Biz already? They are not in the NFL because they did not play, they started in their first years, and under a Coach that only believed in Offense and lost 2 to 3 Games on Special Teams alone? Often letting the hard work the Offense did down that way for the entire team?

I can still remember them....lol. They are NFL players and not ready to put Drake in that ilk.

Bisnowaty redshirted as a freshman. Johnson started 2 or 3 games as a freshman, including the game at Georgia Tech when Jeremiah Attaochu probably made him reconsider ever playing football. He should have redshirted, and if they had any depth to step in for Bisnowaty when he got hurt that year, Johnson would have redshirted.

Depends on what happens with Bookser! I think you see him play YSU at times and grow throughout the Year in other Games too! Just a Hunch.
We shall see?
I don't think the Bookser situation will affect Drake. Bookser is at right guard and Drake spent all spring learning right tackle; I think that's where they project him, so if Bookser misses a game or two, I suspect someone like Justin Morgan - an OL who redshirted - will move up to the first team.

Out of necessity. I doubt any coach out there wants to make it a common practice

Thanks guys, was recalling an old post with Link below, and Stand Corrected!

Yahoo on Dorian's signing:
"Johnson started 42 games at Pitt, which supports the notion that it wasn’t an issue and he could find himself in the mix for playing time immediately at right guard if all goes well this offseason."

Biz signing Too:
"Bisnowaty will be one of the more intriguing rookies to watch as the Giants begin OTAs and then transition into training camp. It isn't clear if he will be a serious contender for a starting job at right tackle in Year 1, but the Giants are high on him after trading up to take him."

Thanks, can't wait for all the Updated Depth Charts for all Teams. Good Podcasts again too!

My couple questions, besides Bookser-
Will O'neill be ready?
Is Dintino a P5 level starter?
