Zags shooting 60%+... I think they missed a few but a few hung on the rim and fell in for them. UCLA shooting 58% I think... Hard to believe they'll keep that up. Expect the Zags to pull away.
I have been rooting for the zags all tourney. But it’s easy to get behind UCLA. They are fun to watch.
I thought the same. Then I remembered Cronin coached them.
Big call coming up. If they call a hook and hold on UCLA, then Gonzaga could widen this lead quickly.
This has been some game. That block then the long bounce pass by the Zags was a thing of beauty.
I’d say that’s a wasted possession by UCLA. Milked the clock down and did that? Would’ve rather had Cronin call a timeout there.

Baylor is probably loving this game going into OT, after they coasted in their game. UCLA has taken so many mid-range shots, which are seemingly frowned upon nowadays, but they've made a ton of them.

IMO it was wasted in the sense that they nonchalantly brought the ball up the floor and had to rush a shot with little direction (no motion, screens, etc). It seemed like he kept glancing over to Cronin for instruction but got none other than to advance the ball. I would’ve liked their chances better if they ran something out of the timeout, perhaps for the same player.
This has been an absolute and complete pleasure to watch and we even got 5 extra minutes of it.
It was totally a charge. Kudos to the ref for making the call that needed to be made.

I used to feel much the same way about Cronin that you do, for many of the same reasons you do. But he's grown on me.
I really liked his comments about Pitt after they beat us in the 13-14 season. Pure respect for Pitt and Dixon at the time.
Don't think it was a charge he was fading left away from the basket. Christmas came early for Gonzaga.

I hear you but that was a little better than a garbage heave. He did shoot that ball. No bank called I’m sure but that wasn’t a desperation throw.
That was a WOW finish. The only disappointment is that I was actually looking forward to getting 5 more minutes.
The unintentionally banked in 3 is almost always a killer it seems. Hell of a way to lose for UCLA.
