The numbers are ridiculous. He’s averaging 20.3 points, 13 rebounds and 1.6 blocks:
• The last Pitt player to average 20 ppg was Brian Shorter in 1989-90.
• The last Pitt player to average 20 points and 10 rebounds was Billy Knight in 1973-74.
• The only two ACC players in the 21st century to average 20 and 10 were Marvin Bagley in 2017-18 and Tyler Hansbrough 2007-08.
• In his past two games, against teams coached by Jim Boeheim and Krzyzewski, Champagnie has 55 points, 30 rebounds and seven blocks — after coming back earlier than expected from a knee injury.
