Not to sound dumb, but what is a bachelor in "legal studies"?

A Bachelor in Legal Studies degree can help you pursue such jobs as court administrator, FBI agent, investigator, legal assistant, court clerk, law clerk, immigration and customs inspector, contract administrator, paralegal, and more. Paralegals work in private law offices, government agencies, and corporate legal departments.

Bachelor in Legal Studies degree programs address the organization, process, and function of institutions as they relate to the legal system. The programs typically cover such subjects as the fundamentals and foundations of the law, criminal justice, the court system, legal processes and systems, contracts, legal research, legal writing, law office computer applications, consumer law, the rights of individuals, and more.

Would seem like a better way for students who are considering law school to go than to "pre-law" programs. At least they can do something with that degree following graduation if they dont intend on continuing to get their JD.

True, good synopsis.

Just saw this come across my feed, and thought I would share. It has been a great year for Pitt rankings for sure
