At this point, it sounds like Pitt is putting the recruitment of Detroit linebacker Kolin Demens on hold. The coaches still like him as a player and could bring him in for an official visit next weekend, but for now, they've got some higher priorities on the board - probably another defensive end or cornerback, unless there's a linebacker target we don't know about.
It's too bad for Demens. He was committed to UCLA and all set in his recruitment two months ago; then the coaching change happened there and he found himself looking for a new home. Now he's less than two weeks from Signing Day and still trying to find a good option.
