USA nations League

Carter-Vickers is going to end up a club legend at Celtic but it's just never come together for him for the US and I feel like it never will.
He really does thrive in Glasgow. Maybe with the new regime, he can start to bring it all.

In my experience yes. The English speaking American fan base is just EPL obsessed. And few followed the game during Milan's glory years in the early 90s to mid 2000s.
Most don’t know that Italy was the best and biggest league in the world then and Milan was the standard bearer. But then Man U and Fergie happened and well we have a whole generation of obnoxious American Man U fans.

Looked like a cycling track to me.

This game tonight…what a difference with the pitch in St Louis. And a pretty good start for the US. I love the energy from this St Louis crowd.

Is cycling big in Jamaica? Dont give the PIAA any ideas or they'll be looking for some cheap cycling stadiums to hold their championships in. Incredible cost savings for that broke-ass organization.

To your earlier point, our CB position is a mess.
I'm comfortable with Mackenzie and Richards being the top 2, both guys are relatively young and playing lots of minutes in top 5 leagues. There's just no depth behind them. Really need a young player to develop/breakout very soon.

Also its crazy how much dept the us has at the 6 between Adams, Tessman, Johnny and Maloney all being solid to good at that spot and playing in top 5 leagues. Plus a bunch more players who can perform well enough in a double pivot like Wes, Musah, Busio, and Aidan Morris.

If y’all have nothing better to watch tonight, Mexico is down 0-2 on aggregate to Honduras and play the 2nd leg at 9:30.

Not sure who I want to win. Playing Mexico in March is a lot sexier than playing Honduras.

This generation of Mexican players is like Pitt football of the 90s. Is it on English language TV? I watched a little bit of Bonaire vs St. Vincent & The Grenadines mostly because I was curious to see what Bonaire football looked like. Not as bad as I hoped.

Actually I’m sorry I brought it up. I figured it would be covered in English somewhere on a CBS network or platform and I don’t see it listed.

It's definitely on a couple different places in Spanish.

At one point ESPN owned the rights to Mexico games in the US in English, but I guess that deal must have ran out and not been extended.

Fubo Sports Network. Just looked it up. Didnt realize such a channel existed. Only available with a Fubo service, I'd guess. Of course, its probably available for free on the Spanish language channels so I'll probably just do that.

Fubo has more sports channels than probably any other service in America, if not the world. They have dozens of sports channels that I've never watched even one time.

Ok, given the other results so far, if they are doing this the way that I think they are if Mexico comes back and advances the semis will be Mexico v Canada and the US v Panama. If Honduras advances it will depend on if they win or draw tonight, and if they win by how many goals, but I think that all the possible combinations would still be on the table.

If they advance while still losing tonight it would be Canada v Honduras and the US v Panama. If they get a draw tonight it would be Canada v Panama and the US v Honduras. If they come back and win the game tonight it would almost certainly be Canada v Panama and the US v Honduras. And theoretically if they come out and blow the doors of Mexico in the second half it could actually end up Honduras v Panama and the US v Canada (although they would need a 3-1 win or better for that to happen).

Based on what I read this is correct. It's a bit unusual but the results in each leg matter with the way it's set up

weirdly I couldn’t find it on any platform including paramount. I went in again and it’s still not coming up. So I’m watching on Univision.

Fox Deportes bought the USA (English language) rights to Mexican home games with the intention of showing the games on the Spanish-language channel, but in English. I am guessing they sold this game or a package of games (or all the games?) to Fubo Sports Network.

FWIW, the game was actually not on the Fubo Sports Network last night (any of the about eight choices). It was on a couple different Spanish language channels.

Pepi had a hat trick today. And now leads the league in goals. Wow.
Dang…just created a separate thread on this 2 hours after your post. 🤦‍♂️ sorry…at least the board police don’t monitor this neighborhood haha…

It’s ok. I buried it here. Didn’t want to start a new soccer thread on a Pitt Volleyball message board. :).
