USF is putting out an RFP for design and construction of an on campus stadium in the next couple of weeks, selection in September.
Based on reports yesterday, they will build a 35,000 seat (not counting luxury boxes).
They have land selected but there isn’t much left in that part of Tampa…unless they plow the golf course.

Damn shame that Don Pardo is not still alive to announce on the air your prize for the who got to 1,000 "who got a stadium" posts first (by an amazing 997 post margin).

What a terrible waste of money. Colleges should not have on-campus stadiums.

Its funny though because UCF's OCS allowed them to leapfrog USF. Now they are in the Big 12 and USF, once the better program is in who knows what

Well the largest school in the country (I think) is a good fit for the Big12.

Well the largest school in the country (I think) is a good fit for the Big12.

USF is also one of the largest schools in the country.

I have played that golf course and yea, a stadium would work well there.

So would junked cars. The course is that bad.
