Sam Houser shot 4 for 16 and 1 for 8 from three. He must have missed his last 6 to 8 shots done the stretch. With him Huff, Clark and Woltenese all having bad shooting nights they didn’t have enough offense. Their championship was between losses to a 16 and 13 seed.

It was a good game to watch down the stretch. For UVA’s rep as a great team defense, Ohio was pretty impressive multiple times spreading the flour and successfully freeing up guys for open cuts to the basket, getting the pass and converting.
Many good coaches out there that most have never heard of. You have to tip your cap to Ohio U for good defense. Of course when the 3 point shots aren’t going in there isn’t much you can do.
Virginia clearly ran out of gas at the end. Which shouldn't be any surprise, considering that they were under covid quarantine until yesterday.
UVA isn’t even underwhelming outside of Hauser and Huff. They’re downright bad. H&H carried them all season long.

Even though their offense seems improved from what it was a few years ago their margin for error isn’t real high. This isn’t even that good of an Ohio team, but they got hot at the right time and were obviously the better team today.
Over ten minutes without a basket (and only two foul shots) in the second half is not a recipe for success.
UVA wasn't very good defensively this year. This UVA team is woefully short on talent. Thankfully for the Cavs, the ACC was abysmal this year.
