VB - Stat Comparison Between Fairbanks & Mosher

Clearly....Illinois did not have the offensive weapons Pitt has....explaining in part why Mosher was more active as an attacker than Fairbanks. That is also the reason Mosher's points/set are higher. Assists/set and digs/set will be where Fisher and staff will focus. However....let's realize that Mosher wasn't setting 2 powerhouse pins like Babcock and Stafford plus VVG and Kelley. Setting All Americans is something Mosher has not experienced. Aces and blocks are very similar. On paper I feel good about Mosher as a key piece to help offset the loss by graduation of Rachel Fairbanks.

Yep. I appreciate you doing this. First stat I went to is assists and figured it would naturally be higher if she were playing here. And I don’t see anything anywhere else to suggest there’s going to be a drop off at the position. Thanks for this!!!

What was her team's hitting %? I know she didn't have the arsenal of Pitt, but still would be interesting to know.

The one negative I have heard about her setting is her accuracy. Rachel could put the set pretty much wherever she wanted. She apparently isn’t that accurate. But, a couple people pointed out that Illinois’ passing wasn’t very good and predicted she will be more accurate at Pitt.
