Pitt sweeps ups . Last time ups was swept at home was 30 years ago!
Not the best 3rd set, but closed it out. Big big win. 1980 was last night the women beat psu is what tv said.
I went to see them in Malibu last week and I *DID NOT* expect this. Wow.
Having lost an assistant coach to them a couple years back and then running into that wall every year against them - this is extremely satisfying.
Oh and we have Anatasia Russ redshirting right now. Like, are you kidding me? What a program. I thank Mike Hebert every match for recommending Fisher.

Ranked 6th, and three teams ahead of Pitt lost this week. #1 Nebraska lost to #2 Stanford. #3 Texas lost to Rice, and of course Pitt beat #4 PSU. You’d have to think that another win vs PSU would put Pitt at #4 at least...and maybe even leapfrog Baylor and go as high as #3.

Agree this team is better. The way they dominated Penn State is an eye opener. Penn State played Stanford closer.
If they beat PSU again Sunday - going undefeated is a real possibility.
Moving Ndee to the right side was a really good move by fisher, she is unstoppable over there. It sucks for markovic because she is a really good, but ndee has been a machine.
Stanford followed up that win with a four set loss at home to BYU today. BYU was ranked 12th this week, so they are good, but that's a clear upset.
Baylor swept #17 Missouri this week, and they play #13 Hawaii tomorrow. If they win that I'm not sure we'd jump them. That would be a pretty good week on their part. But what if they lose that match to Hawaii, and we beat the nitters again? Then numbers one, two, three, four and five would all have lost at least once this week. And number six would have beaten number four twice. Hmmmm.
Also, in the coaches poll (which seems to be the one that most people pay attention to in volleyball) both Florida State (23) and Louisville (25) were ranked this week.
