The winners advanced to the regional finals set for Saturday, Dec. 10. Here's the schedule:

• No. 1 Louisville vs. No. 3 Oregon | 4 p.m. ET | ESPNU
• No. 1 Texas vs. No. 3 Ohio State | 6 p.m. | ESPNU
• No. 1 Wisconsin vs. No. 2 Pitt | 8 p.m. | ESPNU
• No. 1 Stanford vs. No. 2 San Diego | 10 p.m. | ESPNU

If a match runs over 2 hours, the next game starts on ESPN News and is streamed on ESPN+. It switches to ESPNU once the previous match ends.

The only way a match finishes in two hours is if it only goes three sets. The issue for ESPN is if they plan for longer matches and then they do end in three sets they have a lot of dead air to fill waiting for the next match to start. They have clearly decided they would rather have matches potentially running over each other rather than have to fill dead air.
