South Carolina one and done in the SEC tournament. I think they absolutely fall below Pitt and some other teams on the bubble.

I think they could drop to Dayton.

Add to that the Davidson win, Ohio St getting smoked, the AAC tournament breaking Pitt's way.

Basically everything since the Michigan game was good.

We want Kentucky and Texas A&M to advance in SEC. Davidson to lose in the Finals of A10, and Michigan and UConn to lose tomorrow.

I don't think it matters-- I don't see a path for Pitt not to make the tourney. Watching these bubble teams lose reminds me how hard it is to make the field and I shouldn't take it for granted.

No truer words spoken.

I think WVU clinched a 2 seed in Brooklyn with the Miami loss. I am pretty confident we will be in Brooklyn with either WVU or Nova.

Davidson can lose tomorrow. Vcu and the other 3 are safe.

Michigan scares me....even though their resume still stinks.

Uconn winning was crap for us. I still think our resume kills theirs.

With Xavier's loss, I think I agree.

I'd have the ones now as:

Kansas-Virginia-Michigan St-Nova

Twos:

UNC-Oklahoma-Oregon-WVU

Threes:

Xavier-Miami-Utah-Kentucky???

Wow...feels like a very top heavy year. I think I like a lot of teams that will be on the 6-7 lines more than the 4-5

Michigan and UConn were the two bad breaks, but Florida, Tulsa, South Carolina, Ohio St, St Bonny, GW and Houston going down were all good.

If UNC beats UVa and Kansas and MSU win their tournaments, I would go:

1. Kansas
2. UNC
3. MSU
4. UVa
5. Nova

UVa has a head to head win. I'd give UVa the 1 but Nova as the 2 playing through Philly to even things out.

I wonder if WVU can get a 1 if they win tomorrow. I haven't looked at that but maybe that's possible

And in the grand scheme of things, the UConn win doesn't matter a whole lot because for 1, it potentially dropped Cincy below us and if they beat Temple, they knock them out when everyone projected Temple as the auto bid. We could have hoped for Cincy to win the tournament to make the American a 1 bid league but that seems awfully low for a pretty decent league.

Michigan is probably going to lose to Purdue and they'd be below us. Purdue is very very good and they are playing at home.....and their fans aren't as laid back as the IU fans. Purdue fans will be loud and into it.

I don't think so. Probably only way would be if Nova lost to Seton Hall, if Oregon lost, UNC lost.

I don't see WVU passing UVA even if UVA loses. They won't pass Kansas. They won't pass Nova or Oregon if those teams win.

Michigan St is the tough call, their RPI not really a 1 seed RPI, but I think everyone just assumes they'll be there.

Just saying, I think Syracuse has a much better chance than people think. Really look at their resume. The RPI isn't good but they are going to have 5 Top 50 wins including wins over bubble teams St. Bonaventure and UConn.

I might put them in but I'd have to do more research. You know the committee would LOVE to do Syracuse-UConn in Dayton. Could you imagine?

Yes - feeling good. Hopefully Akron wins their tournament as well. It would be nice to play in the 7-10 game, and avoid Dayton.

Why does it matter if Akron wins the tournament? They have no chance at an at large bid.

Whirlys bracket had that exact matchup.

The game no one talks about is Cuse's H2H win vs. St Bonnie's.

Also, with UGA I think still needing the auto bid, how funny would it be if the SEC is a 2 bid league. I could actually see it. That's a garbage league this year.

I cant see all these mid-majors and A10/American teams over South Carolina. They are pretty safe.....and if they're not, neither are we because even though I think we are higher, its very very close. They have to be in.

South Carolina is in a bad spot because the "oh wow, their resume is actually really flimsy" sentiment has been growing over the past few days, and now they capped it with a loss to UGA.

They have a pretty record that makes you give them the benefit of the doubt on the surface, but a 157 SOS and a loss to Mizzou are just killers.

They lost three times to Georgia.

1 win over a team in the field.

And their Tulsa win now probably doesn't mean so much.

RPI now in the 60s.

Will be close, they look like a Dayton team to me. Will the SEC only get 2 teams?

. Palm has Cuse in now as his last 4 in with Michigan, Wich St and Monmouth.
