will tell us more about how the team is shaping up than the first 2 games. (Would have liked to have viewed other players progress with Luther playing, but...)

I look for Frame to have a big game. He is better than he has played recently.

I look for Carr to bounce back too.

The team as a whole will not have to contend with the length that Miami and Louisville presented.

Both ACC games, we've come out solid out of the gate, only to fall victim to a massive run due to a scoring drought. This is a direct result of JWF playing terribly and not having Luther. Will be interesting to see if this happens again. I think we keep this much closer, VT just got blitzed by UVA.

Also due to having no bench depth to speak of.

Virginia Tech looks to be somewhat soft this year. I don't think Pitt has much of a chance to win, but I think they can certainly be competitive in this one.

Anyone know what the betting line on this game is?

It would be very helpful if when JWF isn't shooting well that he was doing more to help other score. He can, on occasion, break people down off the dribble. Perhaps it would help if he looked to penetrate then pass.

Pitt is going to lose in similar fashion. VT plays well at home and will be fired up after their last loss.

This. Our best scoring option is when we get a dribble drive inside then kick it out to an open Stewart. Too many times I’ve seen guys drive in then kick it to the other side while Stewart is standing wide open.

I'll be relatively satisfied with this game as a single digit loss, and the difference is something like 6-10 most of the game.
That would most likely mean that we are not going to have our semi-normal 6-8 minute drought of zero points. :(

Anywhere from 16.5 to 17.

Thought it would be maybe a point or 2 lower, but I’m probably delusional.

I'm not a betting guy, but we really should beat this spread.

Pitt has had those droughts as long as I can remember. Even our great teams went thru them. They are just less affordable with this team.
