We've written about 2021 QB prospect Emmett Morehead a few times in the last week or so, and today he tells us that he could be getting close to a commitment - even if he's not able to take any visits in the near future.
It's pretty clear that Pitt is the top option for Morehead, and I really think there's a chance that a commitment could come at any time. The Panthers are in on a few QB targets, so the coaches may try to hold out for a prospect they have rated higher, but if they want Morehead, they should be able to get him.
How soon could a commitment come? I can't predict for sure, but he told me he hopes to have a FaceTime call with Pat Narduzzi soon - I wouldn't be surprised if news came out of that call. That's just me speculating, though.
