Are you sure? I mean, it is the fourth quarter and while they are down, they have not played bad. They are still in the game. They are moving FSU around in the running game; unfortunately, they just cannot pass. Travis has hurt them some, but he does that to everyone these days.
FSU also picked off a pass when it was 22-0 that was gifted back to VT on a weak roughing the passer call. It most likely would have been 29-0 and the route would have been on.
But that did not happen and VT is in this game. They have not played like garbage by any means when looking at the game in total. They are on the road as well ...
No, but at the time of me posting this, their body of work included losses to Rutgers, Purdue, and Marshall and a 22-point deficit and complete outclassing in this game.
I'll stand by them being hot garbage if they finish 5-7 or worse in a weak ACC with a schedule that doesn't include Miami, UNC, or Clemson. And that seems pretty likely.
We lost to them by 17 and they’re currently losing to FSU by 22… according to the transitive property, that makes the Noles a 39pt favorite over us. 
I wished the ACC could rearrange schedules and have us play UVa instead. Pitt and UVa both may go 1-11/0-8. Blame Covid and play that game on the last day of the season. They used to rearrange schedules during the pandemic. I miss those days.
