Maybe his shuttle time isn't all that, but Wade would probably be the most important recruit for Pitt in many years. Both perception wise and for what he would bring to the team.

I'm not sure how "close" those 2 actually were. I think there was a little bit of jealousy factor going on there with Matthews being the sr playing a position of need for the team while Wade the jr stole the highlights.
Pitt needs to pull out the red carpet for this guy....he's THAT important. We as fans need to shower him with all that we can as well. WADE2PITT needs to be the most important recruiting message we can deliver over the next 70 days!!

I don't think so. Tennessee has not been upper half of SEC since early 2000's. They just started to right the ship, but still have a long way to go.
I agree, but they are currently in the upper half of the SEC. There's flux year after year in all conferences, so I focused on this and last year.

Cuonzo Martin wasn't treated fairly, no doubt. However, most of that had to do with the fans simply being unhappy with the product, and they thought Martin lacked the personality of Bruce Pearl. He might percieve it to be a race thing, but he would have gotten the same treatment if he were white.
Fair or not, Stallings will probably recieve some of the same treatment here from the pro-Jamie crowd if he doesn't live up to their expectations.

It was a nice tourney run, but TN barely made the tourney. They were in one of the play-in games. The damage to the relationship had already been done. Some prominent boosters had already turned up the heat and were doing petty things to entice him to leave.
