Did anyone actually notice that Lunardi has them as an 8th seed and 5th choice in the league? BracketMatrix, which is probably an even better representation has them as the 6th team in the league. That’s all I have to say.
They’re currently 1st in the league and at worst in the top 3. Was by no means a bad loss and your 25th time doubling down makes you look even dumber. I couldn’t care less about Lunardi’s projections of them.
They seed based on resumes, not the quality of teams. Clemson has 2 Quad 4 losses which knock them down like 3-4 seed lines if not more. And they arent really "true" Quad 4 losses being its at South Carolina in a rivalry game and a game in Atlanta vs Loyola Chicago who was supposed to be good this year. Win those 2 and they are probably a 3 seed right now.
So safely in the ncaat?

I was a Chem major and we had a lot of Chem E’s in all our classes . I’ll give them a pass on how they performed in those courses because of how hard their curriculum was , but they weren’t the smartest kids in those classes .

Clemson doesn't have the best RESUME in the ACC. I dont think anyone would argue that there are ACC teams with better resumes. They have 2 Q4 losses. The NCAAT seeds based on resumes. Do you not understand that. Everyone is saying despite that, they are the best TEAM based on a subjective factor of watching them play, especially recently. They have a potential POY, 2nd best big in the league, and one of the best 3 point shooting teams in the NCAA. Not the best resume, but the best team.
And as for NET, I admitted I didnt understand the criteria. Its not like I had an opinion that I flip flopped on. I thought it was the main criteria like RPI but its not.
