My holiday weekend started early with a few beers, and I had a weird question that my wife was not at all interested in. If you could be an elite college athlete at any program in college football history, what program would you play for? Let's exclude Pitt to make it fun.
It's not really your favorite program, but it's where you'd want to go. You might have loved 1990s Nebraska, but there's no way in hell any of you would go back in time and want to live in Nebraska.
Some of my favorites:

Some of my favorites:
- Early 2000s Miami just for the sheer talent, atmosphere around that program, "benefits" of being around that program, etc.
- Any power USC era (probably mid-2000s) -- there's just something special about a dominant USC in LA in the Colosseum, gorgeous weather and classmates
- Modern Clemson or Alabama -- Not a special place to live, but you're at a dominant program at the peak of benefits for players (both legal like water slides and mini putt in the facility and illegal like cash)
- Colt Brennan-era Hawaii -- Good team, and you live in Hawaii
