We are close but not there yet!

I am disappointed about the last two weeks, but there are a lot of good things with this football team. With better players which we should be getting and a few learned lessons from coaches which I am sure they will learn, the future still looks bright.

Literally not one person on this forum have ever said we were great. In fact the preseason pool of record was exactly split between 7-5 and 8-4. Then when that happens the forum blows up.

It was a crap loss today... horrible. But we played and coached a very good game

How so?
We blew a lead, gave up over 500 yds of offense 3 straight weeks and we have the worst secondary in the country.
And, we lose 2 lineman to the NFL next yr

I think next year will be terrible unfortunately. Year 4 will be do or die for Nardog. I would give Narduzzi more time than that but don't forget this AD did not hire him.

If you didn't think this was a wait till next year season/team then i am not sure what to tell you. I was expecting 8-5, still obtainable, I think 2 -3 years from now is when truly great things will happen. We are weak in the secondary, we all knew that, this defense needs studs back there to be successful. We have good recruits coming in. We will be fine.

It's sucks, but we are improving talent yes AB and DJ are tough to replace but not impossible. The future is still fine.

Are you freaking nuts? that was a poorly coached game, especially in the 4th quarter. If you think our defensive backs played well you are on crack.

I for one thought 8 wins was the number but after watching that beyond pathetic defense I'd don't know anymore. Teams will continue to throw at us and there isn't a thing we can do to stop it. So sad a d1 football team can be this bad in this aspect of the game.

Where is the kool aid being dispensed. Anyone who believes we are good is a moron. Second week in a row a QB and WR have CAREER GAMES AGAINST PITT'S DEFENSE. Second week in a row our OC lost his mind in the 4th quarter and our QB could not complete a 5 yard pass. This team is garbage.

Other than Virginia...every game going forward is losable. With the exception of Clemson... Every game is winnable.

To be at 9-3 or 10-2, we had to at least beat UNC or Ok St. Well that didn't happen. I see at best for this team is 8-5, but probably 7-5.

VaTech is improving after the beat down in Bristol, Duke may turn the corner after beating ND as their freshman QB found his stride today, Miami is not as bad as everyone thought and with the offense GaTech runs...anything is possible. Clemson...take Clemson minus the points as I don't see us having a chance.

Regardless where Pitt plays out the rest of the year, I still like Narduzzi and what he is doing. We need to give him time.
