I don't agree
I do... well at least 65. I have watched a few of Kingsby's games and am certain he will be able to contribute at a much higher level than Milligan in the ACC games. I would feel comfortable in predicting 5 ACC wins next year with a possible low of 3 and high of 9.

As you and gary2 are completely entitled to the opinion.

Haha, so are you. I may be wrong. Lord knows I have made mistakes in judgement, especially when it involves something I care about. This is such a likeable team to me that my desire for them to succeed may be clouding my judgement. Things may change but, for now, I would like to stay in that place. Hail to Pitt!

I respect everything you've said here.

I don't think the players on this team will ever get to an NCAA tournament. But I have been wrong in underestimating our men before -- most notably in 2006 and 2009. In 2009-2010, I never thought that team would become what it did become.

Honestly, neither did I. I started following Pitt during the Clyde Vaughn era and had become so conditioned to disappointment that I would savor every victory but always expect defeat. By the 2010's I still enjoyed winning but not to the same extent because I expected it. Now I am reverting back to what I was before but the winning is still fresh in my mind so I am not quite there yet.

I savored a V once 52 years ago during our six win season. We beat Carnegie Tech and we partied all night at the Pitt Tavern. And yes, for you young uns, it was Carnegie Tech.

A baseline of 5 and high of 9 ACC wins?!?! I don't even think Coach Stallings or Cage would think that possible.

Based on his offers alone, I have no expectations for Kingsby.
