We should have made Hurley

I think that Hurley was never coming to Pitt. Just using us to squeeze $ from UConn. I understand this is done frequently but not sure if I like it. So, I wound not call it a whiff.

At his press conference he confirmed it was a two horse race, leaving Pitt his third choice. We offered the most money, but he probably didn't want to clean up the Stallings mess at a school that doesn't have a modern era final four.

Also I do think he's very good but UConn is a much easier school to recruit top 50 players to.
