Was listening earlier today, they did a few minutes on Pickett/Steelers. Lots of talk about the Jets and Giants both having great drafts, but one of their guys had a great rant. I'm paraphrasing, but it was something like:
"I love the pick. The Steelers know something -- how much closer of a look can you get than they had with him? Look, take a look at the last skill players to come out of Pitt. James Conner. Didn't test well. People wondered about his upside. Tyler Boyd. Didn't test well. People wondered about his upside. Both of those guys -- hard workers. Tough. Better every year, do the little things. Every coach loves them. And where's John Ross? Where's Corey Coleman? These Pitt guys, they didn't blow you away, weren't first rounders, but now every coach wishes they had them. They're winners. We can sit here and say hands this and Malik that, but that school has a track record."
Let me see if I can hunt down an MP3 because that is gold. Gold, Jerry!
